CJ Field is a talented musician with a unique voice and impressive songwriting abilities. He was nominated for Grammy, CMA, and ACM awards. After moving to Nashville in 2011, he quickly established himself as a sought-after songwriter, working with Ashley McBryde and other notable musicians. He co-wrote the song "Home Sweet Highway" with Ashley and Blue Foley, which was included in Ashley's Grammy, ACM, and CMA-nominated album "Girl Going Nowhere". CJ also collaborates frequently with Ashley, Aaron Lewis, and Trent Tomlinson, and has shared the stage with other musicians like Trombone Shorty, Bela Fleck, and Amy Helm.
CJ started playing music at open mics in Massachusetts at the age of 20 and later spent time in Macon, GA where he played with different bands and gained influences from southern rock and soul music. He is a multi-instrumentalist who writes, sings, composes, and produces his own music, including his EP "Apologies". He now splits his time between Massachusetts and Nashville.
